Surfdock Watersports
Based at Grand Canal Dock, Surfdock offer a unique combination of activities including
paddleboarding, kayaking and windsurfing for beginners. They offer intermediate paddleboarding classes and trips in and around Dublin as well as intermediate windsurfing in the Malahide Estuary.
Their group sessions are popular for kids birthday parties from April to October. They also run a summer camp for 8 to 16 year olds, with an opportunity to try everything from kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding and ringo rides.
In addition, they run SUP Yoga classes with Ireland’s only qualified SUP Yoga instructor Alexa von Zett of Dublin SUP Yoga Fitness and Urban Yoga Dublin.

Fingal Sailing School provide a fun, exciting and healthy way of learning & improving water based activities. The school is located on the back estuary in Malahide, which is an ideal location for any water activities: the water is sheltered & in a safe enclosed environment. Instructors are all ISA qualified & experts in their chosen activities. The school is open to the general public - there are no joining or membership fees.

Based in Dun Laoghaire Harbour, The Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School has been teaching people on sailing courses and powerboating courses since 1978. They provide all essential gear, boats and buoyancy aids. Their highly experienced instructors are fully insured and have an excellent safety record.

Based in Dun Laoghaire, the National Yacht club offers sailing classes to kids as young as 6. There are also many other non sailing activities taking place within the Club. Each year the NYC run two week sailing courses throughout the summer. These are open to children of members between the ages of 8 to 18 years old. The Club offers all ISA qualifications from Start Sailing to Pre Instructor level.

Poolbeg's Youth Section is separated into two groups, Juniors and Cadets. Junior cover the ages 5 to 15, they will generally sail in double handed Topas or in 23 foot Ruffian keelboats. The 'Cadets' are the most senior group. Aged between 15 and 25 they race and train all year round in dinghies and club keel boats.
They sail every week of the year and run sailing camps during school holidays! There are a mixture of weekly supervised club sailing sessions and ISA accredited sailing courses where your children will get nationally recognised qualifications that can be transferred to any where in the country.

Skerries Sailing Club (SSC) located off the coast of north County Dublin, offers a wide variety of classes. SSC Clubhouse Dinghy and keelboat racing for adults and juniors takes place up to three times weekly in season. SSC prides itself on its friendly atmosphere. Newcomers to sailing are warmly welcomed.
