Stretching along the Strand Road, the Promenade is a popular walking place and with outstanding views over Sandymount Strand to Poolbeg, Irishtown Nature Park and Dun Laoghaire.
It’s perfect for a stroll when the tide is out, while collecting seashells with the little ones or picnics during the summer months. There are better beaches for swimming but it’s perfect for paddling.
