Poolbeg’s Youth Section is separated into two groups, Juniors and Cadets. Junior cover the ages 5 to 15, they will generally sail in double handed Topas or in 23 foot Ruffian keelboats. The ‘Cadets’ are the most senior group. Aged between 15 and 25 they race and train all year round in dinghies and club keel boats.

They sail every week of the year and run sailing camps during school holidays! There are a mixture of weekly supervised club sailing sessions and ISA accredited sailing courses where your children will get nationally recognised qualifications that can be transferred to any where in the country.
