Malahide Castle offers a fantastic visitor experience, incorporating a visitor centre, interactive exhibition areas and magnificent walled garden. The Avoca Cafe is super kid friendly with lots of space, great food and high chairs. The outdoor terrace is a beautiful vantage point to enjoy the gardens…just watch out for the Peacocks which like to show off to our visitors from time to time!
​You can take the Guided Castle Tour, visit the Butterfly Garden, explore the Fairy Trail or take in the sights and smells of The Botanical Garden!
Located only a short walk from the castle is a wonderful children’s playground, it was recently renovated and consists of various types of swings, slides, climbing frames and imaginative contraptions to suit children of all ages.Â
