Who we are:
We founded Building Blocks Child Development in 2021 to make speech, language, and social-emotional learning support more accessible for children. Drawing on our backgroundsβAisling as a speech and language therapist, and Aoife as a primary and special education teacherβwe combine our expertise to create practical online resources and programs for families, schools, and communities. Since launching, we have developed a growing portfolio of resources, received support and a grant from Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, seen our programs and materials downloaded over 1,800 times, and built a community of more than 3,300 followers. We are now excited to introduce our first in-person sessions, led by Aoife, who is currently teaching an Early Intervention Class for autistic children in South Dublin.
